Excellent example of Burgundian Chardonnay. Floral, apples, lemon, some flint, and excellent minerality with balanced oak underneath exhibiting a bit of butter and vanilla. Full on the palate, but excellent acidity. And this is their village wine! — 8 years ago

Absolument wow! Au Pere Bise, 210 euros !!! Un vol si on compare le prix chez les cavistes. Le vin a une amplitude et une profondeur incroyable. Le millésime transparaît et le vin semble etre moins droit, vif et minéral que d’autres millésimes, ce qui pour moi n’est pas un defaut. La bouche est gorgée de fruits exotiques, de citron, de miel. This is basically the house red at Chez LuLu and we usually get a bottle when we go there for dinner. Pairs great with their wild mushroom & lamb sausage pizza and also with the beef stew dish. Solid choice for an inexpensive cotes du Rhône. — 8 years ago
My first grand cru white burgundy - it’s worth it. Honeyed Baked apple, vanilla, but also floral. A nose of gravelly citrus cuts through the richness. Excellent acidity and complexity, the finish just goes on. This is a special wine. — 8 years ago
