The Beatles wrote " when you get to bottom and go back to the top " this sums up my recent consumption.. The baroness and I disagree about this Italian Stallion, so much so I'm in the spare room - otherwise known as the lager lounge.. This beauty has brought me back to the top, I feel closer to Bacchus.. It explodes like popping candy with an array of flavour which go for beyond my Neanderthal tongue... It's smooth but challenging. The local priest is due for a visit I will ask him to bless the case I intend to buy tomorrow.. Long live Italian grapes@Delectablewine Delectablewine — 10 years ago

Thinking of my grandpa on his birthday. He liked grain belt beer. I have evolved somewhat different tastes, but what I wouldn't give to share a glass of this with him now. God bless his soul RWC — 11 years ago

Holy smokes. Move over burgundy!! I've managed to converr a few french people by opening this wine and I wish to convert more. This is 100% pommard and with it the profile of a true terrior driven wine with the distinctive presence of new world fruitiness and old world earthiness. God bless the growers in Sonoma and the steady hands of George Levkoff — 10 years ago
