Nose - soil, wet stone and petrichor/rainy day. Main flavors - delicate stone fruit like plum, cherry and an after taste of fruit pits. Mouthfeel - silky upfront and the a little bit of acid and zing on the back. Really approachable wine. Don’t sleep on dolcetto! Lovely wine. — a year ago

Bright ruby thin pink rim . Quite aromatic herbal tinged ripe red fruits , touch of spice . On the palate quite ripe and sweet liquorice tinged cherry , red currant and raspberry fruits . Quite fresh acidity and slightly bity tannins , ok length , slightly bitter sweet finish. — 3 years ago
Lovely rose with a bit more complexity and less acidic bright fruit than the typical rose. Well-balanced dryness. — 6 years ago
Punchy acid, drawn out tannins. Pomegranate and fresh cranberry, with lingering stoney, graphite notes. — 7 years ago
No formal notes. Some dolcettos are fun loving, gum chewing kids; this is decidedly not, more like a middle aged professional going out for a joy ride. Which is to say: more emphasis on the black fruited, darker dimensions of this varietal. . Still more about the fruit & grip, absolutely feather like tannins if any, & joyful. — a year ago
Soft tannins. Delicious. — 4 years ago
