Had another bottle of this rustic wine. Super happy with it. This time enjoyed with a mix of game - goose breast and duck breast l - and some couscous and mushrooms. Later had a small cheese course with a raw milk cow’s milk, alpine style cheese. — 6 years ago
Very tasty Bierzo red. Moderate oak and plenty of red fruit without being heavy. — 7 years ago

Drinking this in Madrid (Malasaña), Spain. Recommended by a local sommelier. Lovely, fresh and dry. — 8 years ago
A touch of barnyard initially, followed by straw, baked apple. Dry, with more baked apple and pear flavors, tons of mineral character, very long, delicious. — 8 years ago

This was such an incredible surprise. The fuller side of medium everything. Medium plus body, medium plus acid, just the perfect layering of oak and the beautiful length that never disappoints. I freaking loved this wine, and I loved taking it to dinner. Great with charcuterie, flatbread pizza as well as porchetta. Its wines like this, that make me love wines like this. — 9 years ago

Citrus blossom, lemon and nectarine on the nose. Smooth with great mineralogy and flavors of citrus, stone fruit and a slight herbaceousness on the palate - really terrific! — 5 years ago
Deep ruby red and completely coats the glass. A bit tight on the nose with cocoa powder, red plums and cherries. Heavy tannins (7/10) and medium plus bodied. A bit of tobacco and smokiness on the palate, with some white pepper, black cherries, a little leather and earthy rounded mouthfeel. Dry and long finish with a bit of heat coming through. Give it some time to breathe. Drink till 2024. — 6 years ago

Yes dark color. Almost “Black”. Aroma is fruity with a hint of minty teas and redwood wood shavings. Flavor is balanced and brooding. Licorice and cherry cola. Dry but fruit-ilicious. Deep and sorta dramatic. But it’s got old world charm to go with it’s new world pedigree. The three varietals mix together very well. — 5 years ago

Good wine! Taninos moderados e aveludados, com boas notas amadeiradas, tons suaves de nozes e amendoas, com sabor marcante no final oriundo da uva cabernet! Otimo varietal! — 4 years ago
