Brought home a bottle all the way from Florence Italy. A nice gentleman recommended it to me. Said is made locally with real lemons. It did not disappoint. Took me straight back to Italy. Hot, sweet, lemony goodness. Don't drink and drive with this one. It packs a punch — 8 years ago

Earth and fruit combined. Striking nose of toasty spices, anise and cocoa. But had enough fruit on the palette to balance out. Dark berry, bramble. Medium tannins and lingered with espresso. I can see why this grape is good with gamier proteins — 7 years ago
