Privileged to sample the 2016 Monte Bello at the winery as part of their Library offerings. The bottle is $375 at the winery. Tight and tannic after 8 years (and half an hour of decanting) but promising much more. Josh at the winery concedes that it’s in a dumb phase but should reach its peak in 20-30 years. I could analyze and pick apart this one for hours. — 3 months ago

Ridge makes great wines across the board. — 2 months ago
Complex Zinfandel field blend, with nice interplay of flavors and textures—fruit, tannin, acid and earth, that evolves in the mouth. Perfumed and drinkable by itself. Fine example of Sonoma County Zin. Tasted the 2021 vintage at the winery. — 3 months ago
Alot brighter and better balanced than most CA zinfandel. Distinct strawberry and raspberry notes. Tangy. 14% ABV. — 3 months ago
Good everyday Chardonnay table wine. — 6 years ago
Diamond Creek is one of my favorite wineries. I visited the winery and met the owners a couple of times. This bottle had a lot of blackberries, some other dark and touch of green herbs.. Very integrated with a nice long finish. Went great with the Wagyu steaks. — 5 months ago

White Burgundy! 2021 vintage, tasted at the winery. — 3 months ago
Dark maroon color. Jammy and fruit forward but not sweet - dark cherry, blackberry, raspberry, dark chocolate, warm spice. Medium body with smooth mouth feel and soft tannins. Paired well with homemade pizza (pepperoni, roasted mushrooms, onions and basil). Will make a very nice table wine - planning to pick up several bottles for upcoming family reunion! — 3 months ago
