Not even close to being at peak
Funny enough I would say that for a full enjoyment of this wine we could have opened it in 10 years at least
That said on day 1 it was giving absolutely nothing, you could feel the American oak far too much, but on day 2 we have a great wine, smooth, beautiful fruits, lots of shades, but still far from its potential
It will be very hard to taste another bottle

In a word, this Cab Franc is LEGIT! Fruit forward, but deep and succulent on the back end. Cherries, currants, a hint of tobacco. It's as if they bottled a gentlemen's bar from back in the day: power, red leather, and smoke. I like it!!! — 7 years ago
