Delta business class upping their game with some good Pinot. Nice fruit coming through; sweet red berries, cherry, and some earth. Hard to really experience the full expression of any wine at altitude, though. — 9 years ago

When you have to travel on a Sunday, and that Sunday happens to be Mother's Day, you're not exactly psyched. This little oasis in the Delta Sky Club afforded me the opportunity to smile. Not a bad pour, regardless of the price. Typical Lynch-Bages cigar tobacco and leather with some luscious and velvety black fruit. Finished a little flat, most likely due to being open for a while in the fancy automated pour gizmo. But still smiling! — 8 years ago

This is an excellent new small Brewery in Brussels with some really well-made beers. Delta IPA was good, but the New England IPA was truly exceptional and could easily pass for a Hill Farmstead Beer. Truly outstanding. — 8 years ago

This wine from 1890's vines in the San Joaquin River Delta Sand was really great. Have another bottle so it went to bottom of the rack. Dark berry with very smooth long finish — 8 years ago

A great pale ale. As they call it, a Mountain Pale Ale. Nice, moderate hops. Not creamy like a W. Coast Pale Ale, but just a perfect blend of a refreshing beverage with satisfying hops. Love this beer. Watch out, it's 6.5%. Headed to Greek Fest soon. Diving into their wines later. — 8 years ago

Unusual for Abe not to have notes for a wine on his site, but this one has always been blank. I assumed from the name that it was a potpourri of Sacramento River Delta wines and that proved to be correct. A retail site notes that this is a cofermentation of Albariño, Chardonnay, Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Grigio and Verdelho from the Lost Slough Vineyard, then blended with 14% Whole cluster Riesling. Complex nose with a little funk, and acid for days. Interesting wine. — 8 years ago

Recommended by an employee at Total Wine and definitely not disappointed! Very fruit forward, but not sweet. Easy to drink fast. Best on the second pour. Drank with Lindt Excellence Dark chocolate with a touch of sea salt. — 9 years ago
