I tend to be rather picky about rosé, but I always love those from the Tavel area. This one is consistently satisfying. Glorious salmon-pink color and fresh, juicy flavors of strawberry and watermelon. Great with our Niçoise salad! 60% Grenache, 13% Clairette, 13% Syrah, 10% Cinsault, 3% Mourvèdre, 1% Bourboulenc. 5/15/22. — 4 years ago
Matthiasson does not disappoint, even with rose. Delicate, floral, red fruits, layered, without any of the bitterness. — 6 years ago
Dinner at the Conlin-Rifkin residence. — 6 years ago
This is hands down my favorite rose to current. It is smooth, clean and fruity, not not overly sweet. A perfect balance and wonderful chilled or room temperature. — 6 years ago
Peach lemonade in the glass. A touch cloudy and gray, but delicate looks. Slightly astringent and hot on the nose. Nectarine pit, cloudberry, and a touch of acetone on the tongue. Almost orange wine like spices and spark. Surprising and lovely. Abso-frickin-ideal for pairing with briny seafood as well as something richer like a Malaysian honey BBQ chicken with mango salsa. — 7 years ago
Disgorged 17/12/2015. This is truly great cava. Fine bubbles, great depth of flavour. Lovely pink hue. — 10 years ago

Aha ha ha ha ahuhn, this is a French sparkling brut rose, a crement. She is from Alsace with crisp tiny bubbles, creamy body, with a toasty, yeasty flavor. I never can explain the nose of sparkling wines, so I won’t. — 4 years ago
One of my favorites! Enjoyed with Thanksgiving dinner. — 5 years ago
Crisp, juicy, and delicious. Watermelon, strawberry, and guava. So much better than most rosés at this price point. Actually had body, substance, and character. This Sonoma Sangiovese was a hit for guests that didn’t know wine well. Will be purchasing more for $14 a bottle in Lebanon, NH. — 5 years ago
Ultramarine never disappoints, and this bottle of sparkling rose was no exception. — 6 years ago

Still have 6-8 bottles between the last 2 releasesColor is almost like grapefruit. Nose of ripe pineapple, tart cherry, mineral, flowering note like light honey, and tinkling carbonate. Taste is clean and follows the nose, with refreshing grapefruit zest, long subtle acidity, some tart cherry, and honey. Aftertaste is medium, with grapefruit and naval green range finish, very clean and savory. — 7 years ago
Great rosé. Good body and ready for the pool. Screw cap. Hit a of fruitiness but earthy as well. — 8 years ago

13.5% ABV Salute to Lulu Peyraud of Domaine Tempier in France. Lulu’s father owned the vineyard , and she along with her husband took it over. Sadly we lost her in October 2020 at the age of 102 y/o. This is a blend of old vine Mataro and Grenache. Light salmon color, watermelon initially , later apple. Very nice! — 4 years ago
2016. The liner of the screw cap was stuck to the bottle and there was a nice POP when I pulled it off, no other fizz in the wine. What was immediately released were big red fruit aromas. This trocken wine had more to offer than fruit, and the crisp acidity and minerals helped it pair great with a smoky wedding kielbasa, white bean, and mustard green ragout. — 5 years ago
Orange, elderflower, green apple, saline, minerality. Extremely chuggable young summer wine. — 6 years ago
Watermelon aqua fresca, grassy, sour cherry on the finish. Nice minerality. — 7 years ago
This is a Rose. Very good wine from a favorite winery — 9 years ago
Sweet nose of fruits and candy. Beautiful color and super pleasant bubbles. Pretty sweet but in a balanced way. Ultimate bottle to crush at your next bachelorette party — 10 years ago
My guest was celebrating her birthday, she wanted something sweet pink and bubbly. Boom first thing that came up vueve. Sold it for $160 my guest loved it.
The wine has a luminous color with radiant rose accents. The nose is elegant and generous, with initial aromas of fresh red fruit (raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry)
