Second time with this bottling and an equally stellar experience. This producer works magic with her rosados. Flat out some of the best I’ve ever had. Deep ruby red, with strawberry fruit and a crushed candy nose. Mouth is tart, salty, taffy textured, leesy, with an umami wave. All the savory components integrate seemlessly with the fruit. Almost all Garnacha with small amounts of Carignan & Grenache Blanc. For me, Grenache heavy wines show best when they pick up weight with air. This remains nimble & finessed, yet shows good power & structure on the raspberry & herbal palate. Love what’s happening in Spain these days. — 4 years ago
