Wonderful Chenin Blanc. Attractive nose that is full of green apple, orange peel, and wet slate. Bursting with zippy acidity, the palate shows intense grapefruit, sour green apple, nectarine, fresh squeezed lemon and white pepper. An impressive Chardonnay that drinks like a complex, balanced Sauvignon Blanc. 2014 is young, but it still shows well. Pair with goat cheese (chèvre) and poultry dishes. I don't know how to describe it....just really delicious juice. Enjoy! — 10 years ago

Very pale salmon color. When first poured, lots of melon on the nose; cantaloupe, honeydew, watermelon. As it warms a bit, bubblegum aromas pick up along with wet stones. Great aromatics for a cotes de Provence. Very simple palate; crisp and light. Watermelon rind, tart apricot, hints of red berries. Finishes quickly. A great palate cleanser for lite fare; think simple shellfish or chèvre. — 11 years ago

2013 vintage served with grilled hangar steak, charred fingerlings with red onion and purple pepper and tomato salad with oregano mint and chèvre. Exquisite nose of leather book cover, light of rome. Good acid yielding to pleasant tannin. You know when you have it and this has it . Lovely and got 2 more in the crawl space with three of the 14s. Light waning, time to relax. Holy cow, loved this wine - even more so having gotten it from Last Bottle. Beautiful roundness with a typical, but well balanced oaky vanilla California Pinot aspect.
