Legs, 9/10. Smells spicy, heavy cherry on the nose. So smooth!!! Tannic, but not overbearing. Cherries, oak on taste. Love this one. — 8 years ago
Silky, spicy, texturally perfect. Tyson makes some of the best wine in Oregon, including a Pinot and Chardonnay from this site. Four winds is a horse farm, 8 miles northwest of McMinnville, about 6 acres of fruit (?), marine-sedimentary, dense on the palate, acid, fresh. Pretty much perfect. This wine is why you drink Pinot with pork and salmon. Going to be really good in 2020-2021, maybe longer — 9 years ago
Nice and smooth. Goes well with any type of food and not too expensive either. — 10 years ago
A restrained nose with some camphor, pencil lead, and dried oregano....the palate jumps up with dark, muddled fruit, white pepper, and a kirsch liquor dancing in the background....moderate tannins show up with the slowly evolving finish...these a raf zins rarely disappoint.... — 7 years ago

Fine line ghost peach color. Short toasted nose with a beautiful fresh strawberry palate dancing into a memory ( like biting into a red delicious Washington Apple, over plump and perfect, on a country side road) : A Structured, elegant rose, with razor wire nerve: Wish I'd had another bottle — 9 years ago
Wonderful wine. Comparable to Von Strasser Cab. Give it time to open up and get rid of the sharp, peppery edges & it will be smooth & round, with a dry finish. — 10 years ago
Color of grayish purple, quite clear with a bit orange note. Nose is balanced fragrance with dried strawberry, spice, tobacco leaves, cured meat, and more sweet berries. Taste is light, and follows the nose, right amount of acidity and tannins, zest, just a bit sweetness shows her subtlety, more cured meaty note dancing with the berry note. Aftertaste shows backbone of tannins, medium long with savory spice, acidity and sweetness. Pretty good. — 7 years ago
First planted in 1995, the Bunker Hill Vineyard is located in the Salem Hills and benefits from the cooling winds of the Pacific Ocean through the Van Duzer corridor. The resultant wine starts off with aromas of vanilla, crème brûlée, peat moss, and ripe pineapple. The minerality and intensity to this wine is highly satisfying, as is the richness and brightness shines through. Poached pear, marzipan, crème brûlée and apricot flavors come to mind, as the wine showcases an exotic edge. Drink 2019-2029- 94 — 7 years ago

Happy Thanksgiving 2017! 4 Winds will be the 1st one. Super approachable 2013! Solid & high quality experience from Thomas. — 9 years ago
Greg Hobbs featured opening wine for us at The Artisans of Barossa. This is his Tango for the two grapes in the blend...Shiraz and Viognier. The two make for an excellent wine that just kept dancing better and better as they opened up. Greg was a Police Officer for 10 years before buying property in Barossa. Quite a transition! Greg's property right next to Chris Ringland's. — 9 years ago
2007- polarizing vintage & yes, this is ripe and juicy raspberry dancing across the nose & palate. Once it breathes it shows some smoke & pine-like herbal notes which add complexity. Structured, but wonderfully approachable. Great producers manage all vintages and this reflects the best part of 2007. Happy Christmas Eve & Happy Hanukkah to everyone! — 9 years ago
