Incredibly powerful black currant from the start. I get a bit of herb and smoked meat after a while. Violet then raw licorice all the way taste wise. — 7 years ago
Perfect accessible cab franc for little money. Great wine. Very complex, firm but not assertive tannins, what more can you want? — 8 years ago
Great natty Nebbiolo (?) zippy cherry and rustic. V good! — 4 years ago
Jasmine, quince paste, spiced pear, lemon curd, pineapple sweetness, punchy. Touch of lemon pith at end, but tons of juicy acid. Creamy / lactic. Chalky minerals. Layered, delicious, weighty.

Young and lean, this presents the classic aromas and flavors you expect. Earth and mineral driven with slightly underripe red and black fruit and veggies. A wine that only works well with a meal. — 4 years ago
