at Taittinger. A bit oaky, dry. Would be great with food. I'm picking up a slight hint of coffee taste but I may be crazy, 3rd glass I've tasted in 30 min! — 9 years ago
Floral, slight effervescence, crisp, a little tropical fruit, citrus, and lemongrass. Very balanced and was terrific with spicy fish tacos. One of our new favorite whites. — 10 years ago
crazy stuff, love it..!

Crazy good paired with dipping into gamba al ajillo (emphasis added), at Napa's groovy/real Zuzu, catching a classic deeply dirty nose while still sporting sun-drenched fruit that initially reworks one's first blush front mouth with an iodine edge that morfs into red and black fruit edgy with acid/tannin slow dancing to the depths and begging for another pinch of broth soaked chewy freshly baked bread and the associated next swig of this sweet juice...rhythmically stellar by day or by night😎🌌👣🍷🌀🎼
PS hit Zuzu (friendly, delicious and real...

2009 Vintage. Olive, leather, coconut, and dill on the nose. Soft and silky but focused. The palate gives anise, milk chocolate, coffee, cherry, vanilla & toast. Sounds crazy, but it's all there. Lighter, much more playful version of the Unico. — 11 years ago
Sweet wine! — 12 years ago

Loved this Italian white with fish. Not sweet. Not dry. — 10 years ago
Call me crazy but I think that right now this is better and more open than the 82. Fun to go back and forth. — 11 years ago
Not a bad wine, it was pretty good — 11 years ago
Go with both fish and meat. Slightly fizzled and light initially and evolved to complex with depth. — 9 years ago
Love whisper my angel. Perfect dry rose for salads & fish. Would recommend to anyone looking for rose that's not sweet and dry on the tongue — 9 years ago
Crazy rosatto by the king of Etna Frank Cornelissen ! Powerful, complex and intriguing nose on wild strawberries, pomegranate, grapefruit, cut grass... super fresh palate with kicking acidity, high bitterness and... tannins ! Radical wine and I love it ! — 9 years ago
Wonderful with our grilled Marchigiani fish. Not a Verdicchio, but was great with it! — 10 years ago
1990: Corked, unfortunately. My mom had the best line, "It sure tastes better than it smells!" I recall what it was like on release, hard candy sweetness with a surprisingly light framework, particularly compared to both the '88 & '89 on release, and the crazy depth of the'90 Ch. Filholt Creme de tete, which was massively concentrated. This bottle still had oomph, yet wasn't all there. — 10 years ago
Aw, Schucks, Ma... THAT was tasty! Perfect easy-breezy, Mother's Day picnic Pinot. — 11 years ago
Such a treat - 2001 aging in that crazy magical way only Lopez whites can do. Thank you @AlexAlan! — 11 years ago

Still vibrant with waxy apricot, preserved lemon, and a hint of menthol and wet gym socks. Great with the fish and shellfish pie that I'm eating. — 9 years ago
