This is not a merlot blend. It is Cornalin, Diolinoir, and Syrah. Loads of tar and smoke, on the nose and in the taste. Heavy Syrah in the blend. Very smooth. Mid length finish. — 5 years ago

Note : What a discovery! A double grape variety between Rèze and Heida. This wine deserves all its attention especially for connoisseurs. A yellow robe that will remind us that of a Jurassian yellow wine. Its very aromatic nose with flavors of spices, exotic citrus. On the palate, a length of flavors with a grand finale. Notes of white flowers, woody, fresh. A nectar to taste!

— 6 years ago

This is not a straight Cornalin, it is an assemblage. « Assemblage de cépages nobles, Elevé en foudre de chêne suisse» and in Swiss oak rather than French. The Cornalin and Humane Rouge blend well with the Syrah. There is a spicyness that leads to a soft but medium long finish. — 4 years ago
Alpine, mineral freshness. Tiny producer in Val d’Aosta, blend of 70% Cornalin plus Fumin and Prëmetta. Light tannins, cranberry, crispy foliage, graphite. From Flatiron Wines. — 5 years ago
