A French wine that Lydia liked. Fruity to the point of juicy, dry finish. Great! — 7 years ago
Had by the glass first time at Zuni Cafe in SF. Love it and was quite a surprise to me. Love the grape. — 8 years ago
Juicy ripe fruit on the nose, meaty and smoky on the palate. Love this one — 5 years ago

2020 fall. I was really looking forward to this based on things I’d read. There’s a ton of stuffing here, but it’s rather dense and compacted at this point - impenetrable black and blue berries, quite ripe and rich. The nose doesn’t really have that Burgundian lift at this point - I wouldn’t have been able to guess what it is at all. I’ll leave my other bottle for a bit and see what happens... — 5 years ago

Color of ruby and cranberry juice. Quite clear. Nose of spice, dried strawberry, tobacco leaves, cherry jam, strength of alcohol, and ripe grapes. Taste basically follows the nose with addition of marginal tannins and hint of black pepper. Also some more sweetness note. Aftertaste of some more ripe grapes and a tiny bit zesty. Flavors keep coming. Above average. — 6 years ago
Tried it chilled at the suggestion of the wine shop. Fruity. Refreshing. Interesting. Very different. — 7 years ago
