Not a bad wine, it was pretty good — 11 years ago
Deep purple colour. Nose of moss, blueberries, cherries and black pepper. Medium bodied, juicy, cool and fresh, firm cherry and berry fruit, a touch of slightly bitter herb and plum on the finish, fine mesh of tannin and lively acidity. Nicely composed, very drinkable. — 11 years ago
Easy drinking. Cool crime statement on cork. Tarty but caby. Interesting history. — 11 years ago
Always a save bet, unfortunately so hard to get. In a great spot at the moment. Cherry, herbs and just a hint of green pepper on the cool & elegant nose. Nicely integrated tannins & acidity. Medium+ finish. — 10 years ago

Serve cool NOT cold to make the acid POP.
My guys say.... Lighter bodied dry white. Drinks reminiscent of a fine) fino sherry with a light briney nutty flavor (salted nutz? :) and a squeeze of lemon. Roasted fish, octopus, saganaki. — 11 years ago
Anything less cool than Bordeaux? Loved this though. More than the 2010 at any rate. — 11 years ago

Excellent alternative to Sauvignon blanc. Went very well with fish. — 12 years ago
Crazy-cool nose of black dusty soil, smoked beef, dried herbs, and black fruit. A lot of acidity and tannin, more than expected. Really good. — 12 years ago

Mature cool climate Chardonnay. Penfolds Whites are starting to gain the reputation of their illustrious Red offering. After 6 years funk is replacing the Flint of a few years ago. Nice stone fruit notes and long. Enjoyable. — 9 years ago
