The 2021 Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore Misco is wonderfully perfumed and lifted, presenting an herbal-tinged bouquet of wet stones, chlorophyll and green apples. This sleek and racy effort sends waves of mineral-tinged orchard fruits and hints of sour citrus across the palate, all guided by brisk acidity. Sour melon and inner florals resonate throughout the mouth-watering finish as a caking of minerality slowly cracks and crumbles. (Eric Guido, Vinous, May 2024)

A really dark-colored one here... On the nose, this is the darkest of black fruit... Some blackberry liqueur on that nose too... On the palate, it's still black fruit to be sure... Maybe with the addition of cranberry... The seven years of age seems to be introducing some softness with the tannin... Some old-world dirty here. Dusty. Medium body. Medium acidity. The finish is long with the blackberry showing flecks of blueberry on the finish. — 9 months ago

Pretty good. Too lemony for Lydia. — 4 years ago
Deep purple and an amazing floral nose. tv14%, higher in alcohol than I’ve seen with Lacrima, but u can’t taste it. This wine is so unusual- no other grape that I know of ( my brother will correct me?) has a nose and taste like this. Tannins are there but in check. Went great with pappadelle and pancetta/ tomato sauce. — 5 years ago
Haven’t been surprised by a white in a long time. This one has a “zing” that my taste buds can’t resist. — 6 years ago

100% verdicchio, delicious white, high alcohol content — 5 years ago
My favorite wine to date but that’s not saying much. I’m leaving room for better things but this is my type of wine. It’s so buttery. You can drink it all night and enjoy every sip every time. — 6 years ago
Medium bodied, pear tones, less dry/acidic than other Verdicchios I’ve had of late. I like it, but my better half gives it a thumbs down. — 7 years ago
Lemon, grassy herbal note / minerality and acid late-palate — 7 years ago
