Med- ruby red, light raspberry and sage notes, as always with #balistreri and #carignan high acidity and here nicely balanced with a little residual sugar or sweetness. Smooth and nice finish. Thanks @Mason Balistreri for the last bottles of this interesting wine. — 9 years ago

Avery again makes a Great beer, DIPA. In 12oz cans, 4-pack, year round offering, 8% AVB, 70 IBU's, brewed with hemisphere hops , pale malt, big citrus and tropical hops, very small malt backbone just there to let the hops shine and take front and center stage, is this the updated version of their classic, The Maharajah? Time will tell, overall one of the best west coast DIPA's out there, keeping up with the current trend, tropical and fruity, Excellent!!!! — 9 years ago

The standard expression is very good, but the barrel aged version is out of this world amazing. I was only able to get my hands on one can so I won't be able to asses how it ages, but even young it is exceptional. — 8 years ago
