Black cherry, raspberry preserves, dark chocolate, vanilla, licorice, blackberry and oak. Full-bodied and soft tannins. — 4 years ago
Diesely nose. Malic apple-pear leads to almost coconut and then maybe starfruit? Sweet start, tart finish. Viscous mouthfeel with a fizzy acidity. — 5 years ago
More of the French style and flavor profile than most Oregon pinots but still undeniably willamette. Very enjoyable with more muted fruits and pronounced earthiness. Wish I had more than the one bottle left. — 8 years ago

“Damn it, Jim, I’m a winemaker, not an English professor!”
Despite the unfortunate confusion between possessives and contractions, this is a superlative red blend. Delicious blueberry and pepper spice flavors predominate. The body is big and strong without being overbearing. There’s a lot of sediment there, so best to decant or filter. — 4 years ago
Amazing. Excellent WA fruit creating a stellar wine. — 4 years ago

Bon vin, sec, pas trop acide, pas trop agrumes, légèrement fruité. Je vais devoir y regoûter pour mieux évaluer... après 3 essaie, ce vin passe la note. SAQ - $15 — 5 years ago

Not a Pinot Noir for the newbie. More Burgundy, less California with a bouquet of tarragon, cedar, mint, redwood, black cherries, blood orange peel, green olive, sea spray, and smoked game meats. Intense, complex and a real joy for a lover of earthy, terroir-driven Pinots with a character. — 8 years ago
