Pretty uncommon wine, unique find. Medium purple; on the nose, it has strong farm smells initially which do cease after a while and opens up to slight cherry, mushroom and some forest as well. Very much a contemporary style of Amarone this is an elegant wine with finesse without sacrificing it punch. 15.5%abv, just 3.6 g/L residual sugar. Deep Ruby and loaded with fruit - black cherry, plum and prunes, blackberry, cassis, chocolate and seductive hints of Chinese Five Spice, including star anise and cinnamon. Elegantly poised, this feels light on the palate despite its full body. Very long finish, excellent with hearty food (I had it with boeuf Bourguignone). — 3 years ago
Vintage 2015 | Multi blend from Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Chenin Blanc. Lovely effort! I gave the wine 4 hours in decanter and afterwards it had a velvety taste. Good concentration, berries in smell. Paired with Côte de Boeuf from the grill, morels and sweet potato. The only point that I don’t like is high alcohol. With the food the wine gets a nice impression of chocolate and cacao. — 5 years ago

This wine is deep ruby with intensely concentrated black fruit (blackberry, plum, cassis) aromas and flavors, along with black pepper, licorice, nutmeg, cedar, clove, wet earth, mushroom, and leather notes. Lovely complement to the Boeuf Bourguignon with strong acidity and tannins, high alcohol, and full body.

Nez principalement sur les fruits noir, cuir, eucalyptus! En bouche, c’est très bien, les saveurs typique bordelais, fruits noirs, tabac, cuir, cèdre , roches mouillées. Le vin est quand même puissant, les tannins sont présents et le vin a un bel équilibre. Va tenir la route encore
