Dark berry with earthy game to nose and pleasing to palate with a long finish. — 3 years ago
Grassy buttery, burnt meaty delicious smell, so savory, light yellow, acid over tannin — 4 years ago
Fruity smell and flavor. Slightly dry.

Such an awesome big Pinot. Drinks more like a Cab. Yum! — 6 years ago
So delightfully balanced, sour fruit and med acidity — 7 years ago
Great fruit even at this age. The only issue I had besides the slight bell pepper is how rough the tannins were and the coconut on the nose. American oak? Not something i’d think Roy would use. — 9 months ago
A little RS or a lot of fruit? Delicious. Buy again. — 5 years ago

Very bright! A wonderful crisp Sancerre! — 10 months ago
Still showing a lot of tannic and acidic structure, but enough fruit to keep it in check once it had a few hours of air, youthful still, and brawny. — a year ago
Light and lovely, very easy to drink! No oakiness at all. — 3 years ago
Burgundy tasting at foreign cinema. Reallly great with seafood, there was excellent acidity and some earth flavors. Really liked it but was overshadowed by the Chardonnay. — 4 years ago
Delicious. A little acidic, a little funky. — 6 years ago
Mild smooth and dry — 6 years ago
Very good surprise for a wine I expected very little from. Earth, black currant, menthol... Very nice. Superbly balanced palate with a srong acid backbone, some meaty, salty touches, a nice grip and some lively tannins. Some oaky touches here and there too. Long lasting finish with some oak, black currant, and a salty meaty thing. Quite a well crafted pomerol for a very competitive price (around 20€). — 7 years ago

A little farmyardy on opening, but still some pleasure in this forgotten oldie from the cellar when it opened up… — 9 months ago
