Oh, hello gorgeous. Another brilliant wine from the rock block. Clif never disappoints. Ever. — 10 years ago
2003 is exceptional. — 11 years ago
Enjoyed this wine with a dry aged Delmonico cooked on the grill, served with Hoppin' John, and zucchini and tomatoes from our garden. The intense berry fruit in this Cab and its moderate acidity and mild tannins were a great match for this menu. — 12 years ago
Dark plum color. Uninteresting nose. Plum flavors. Sweet, but not cloying. Light balanced tannins and acidity. Full flavor without being heavy. Very easy to drink. I really like this wine. — 12 years ago
So yummy. Went perfect with our turkey. — 10 years ago
Wonderfully silky blend from Clif Lede... Amazing with BBQ or a juicy steak! — 11 years ago
Popped and poured through a Soirée. This was firing on all cylinders right from the get go. Beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers and crushed red raspberries and tea. Had that ethereal thing going that's found in the more honest BdM's. Tannins have softened considerably since my last bottle which makes me wonder if there could be some bottle variation. This was delicious with pasta all'arrabbiata. After about three hours, however, it fell off a cliff. It became really disjointed and started to smell a bit like varnish. The next day didn't yield any better results. This bottle was clearly on the decline. I'll try another bottle soon and see if it's the same experience. My advice, zero decant and enjoy with a meal in the near term. — 12 years ago

Wifey spat her pacifier out for some reason, but I have assumed editorial liberties. In the glass, the wine is as black as me, but not as sexy 😏
The nose is dense and heavy with maple syrup and maraschino cherries. On the palette, it's velvety and compact, with layers of coffee, kirsch and finishes sweet. This is why I love Napa! — 10 years ago
