Excellent, silky and smooth — 8 years ago
Delish wine that I fell in love with at cliff lede tasting room. Beautiful cherries and spice, soft tannins. — 8 years ago

One of the picks of the day. Fkn good drop — 9 years ago
Wifey spat her pacifier out for some reason, but I have assumed editorial liberties. In the glass, the wine is as black as me, but not as sexy 😏
The nose is dense and heavy with maple syrup and maraschino cherries. On the palette, it's velvety and compact, with layers of coffee, kirsch and finishes sweet. This is why I love Napa! — 10 years ago
2003 is exceptional. — 10 years ago
Popped and poured through a Soirée. This was firing on all cylinders right from the get go. Beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers and crushed red raspberries and tea. Had that ethereal thing going that's found in the more honest BdM's. Tannins have softened considerably since my last bottle which makes me wonder if there could be some bottle variation. This was delicious with pasta all'arrabbiata. After about three hours, however, it fell off a cliff. It became really disjointed and started to smell a bit like varnish. The next day didn't yield any better results. This bottle was clearly on the decline. I'll try another bottle soon and see if it's the same experience. My advice, zero decant and enjoy with a meal in the near term. — 11 years ago

A burst of blackberry and a slight licorice finish this is an amazing blend from Cliff Creek. — 8 years ago
Great wine! — 8 years ago
Garnet and quite transparent. Aromas of chocolate mint, fried leaves and twigs, black cherries, prunes and even a piece of coconut. Lighter bodied, has a laminated mouthfeel, perky acidity and sneaky bitter tannin. Flavors of cherry cola, table grapes, toasty oak and chocolate mint. — 9 years ago
This 2009 Syrah is a dreamy rich luscious thick smelling bundle of yumminess. On the nose is a nice peppery smell. A little leather to give it that big bad ass feeling. On the palate you get a slight dark cherry with a little smokiness. Letting this breathe a little before calling the huge grippiness mid palate. But if it sticks around then it is the complete package! — 9 years ago
Oh, hello gorgeous. Another brilliant wine from the rock block. Clif never disappoints. Ever. — 10 years ago
Notes of raisin, very smooth and enjoyed every successive sip — 10 years ago
Enjoyed this wine with a dry aged Delmonico cooked on the grill, served with Hoppin' John, and zucchini and tomatoes from our garden. The intense berry fruit in this Cab and its moderate acidity and mild tannins were a great match for this menu. — 11 years ago

Late post. Cliff lede amazingness — 11 years ago
Dark plum color. Uninteresting nose. Plum flavors. Sweet, but not cloying. Light balanced tannins and acidity. Full flavor without being heavy. Very easy to drink. I really like this wine. — 12 years ago
