Well bodied and smoky end. We had it with traditional southern Brazilian barbecue and was a perfect combination. — 7 years ago
Refreshing, sweet, light, almost muscadine summer wine that pairs particularly well with cheese. Kept well in a hot apartment. — 7 years ago
Beats many if not most Chianti Classico hands down. We did a blind tasting of 11 2015 Tuscan wines, 10 well know Chianti Classicos and this came out in front. Quality price ratio is fantastic. — 8 years ago
Fruity, with apple. Not very acidic. Very nice! — 9 years ago
2008 in 2016. Very impressed as Brazil I don't drink often. Cab and marlot blend and is still young. Wow. Fruit forward with nice dry oak finish. Balance and well made. Outstanding with dinner. Full body. — 9 years ago
Having this with mom, Carol, Christy and Mayra in Orvieto. We are loving it. Carol and Christy taste peach. I think crisp, apples, a little thicker than the 3 Orvieto Classicos we tried earlier. — 6 years ago
One of the top classicos I’ve enjoyed. — 7 years ago
2015. Great pizza wine. Very proper and very approachable. Better than most chianti classicos. — 7 years ago
Unbelievably good wine, following several other wines this still stood out for its clarity and structure. Every sip was just another taste of its quality. — 8 years ago
Tart and slightly ripe cherries, cranberries, and currants with fennel, roasted red pepper, and fresh roses. Tannin is subdued, lovely acidity, and beautifully integrated alcohol. One of my all time favorite Chianti Classicos. — 9 years ago
One of the best Chianti Classicos I've had. — 9 years ago
Excelent Brazilian wine and cheap. — 10 years ago
Castell'in Villa's 2015 Chianti Classico is a gorgeous wine that will delight readers who enjoy the Chianti Classicos of this reference-point estate in Castelnuovo Berardenga. Crushed flowers, mint, licorice, dried herbs, cedar and tobacco give the 2015 lovely aromatic complexity. The 2015 is perhaps a bit more open than young wines tend to be here, but then again, 2015 is a warm vintage that generally yielded accessible Chianti Classicos. All that means is that the 2015 can be enjoyed with less cellaring than is the norm here. As it so often is, the Castell'in Villa Chianti Classico is a wine of real pedigree and distinction. Cannot get enough of this wine! I f’n love Chianti Classicos! It’s rich, it’s bold, it’s complex...and oh so satisfying when it hits your lips... — 7 years ago

Smoke with black fruits, black pepper and spices — 8 years ago
Pour is more brown than red. Kind of a palm oil with huge amounts of oak from the 2 years in the barrel. Also more tannic than the general Classicos I'm more familiar with — 8 years ago
Um bom espumante pra qualquer evento. Equilibrado e suave no ponto — 9 years ago
Surprisingly good for the price. It was a little sweet and "soft" but very enjoyable. 2015 harvest must have been a good one. — 10 years ago

Just started trying Chianti and after 4 bottles of other Classicos this is the first one I’ve liked. Yay! — 6 years ago
