Has a woody taste to it. Sweet aftertaste, like berries. — 9 years ago
Nice fruit and light, not as much tannins, smokiness too, some baking spices maybe. Cherries definitely, not as weighty in the mouth. — 9 years ago
So awesome, meaty, poo-ie. Demeter certified. — 10 years ago
delivered the earthiness the wife wanted (as an umbrian should). — 12 years ago
Tasted blind. Dark tawny color. Translucent but barely so. Fragrant nose. Italian is the first verbal guess. Notes of black cherry, black soil, rose petals and some wood. Chewy in the mouth. Young and refined. After debating if it's an 89 or a 90 Barolo I go with a guess of 82 Giacosa SS Barbaresco. A great treat to try this side by side against the 78 Conterno Monfortino. Giacosa wins tonight. — 7 years ago

Drank this on a work trip to Sydney at a restaurant called Firedoor. Delicious! Bottled in a cider bottle. @David Lincoln — 7 years ago
Another great Portuguese red, full of flavour and great with a rustic chilli con carne, will be adding a couple of these to the wine rack. — 9 years ago
Digging this one too. Classic prune, deep flavor from the petit Verdot. Really nice not overly extracted. — 9 years ago
Fantastic, fruit forward blend. Pairs well with almost anything, even fish and poultry if the seasoning has spice to it. — 10 years ago
