I had a bottle of this wine a while ago and it was spectacular: 94pts. The second, which I drank a few weeks ago, was very good, but not as good as the first one, but still pretty decent: 90 pts. On average 92. A fine claret by the owners of Cheval Blanc. — 9 years ago
Love this! Great color and nice mineralogy on the finish — 10 years ago
Fine drinking but not particularly interesting — 11 years ago
Perfect with beef stew and biscuits. — 11 years ago
A delicious wine that should show even more in the next few years. With notes of kirsch and black currant, this soft, but complex wine is delicious. It has slight herbaceous undertones that round out the fruit forwardness. Probably one of the better Chat. Du Papes from this vintage. — 12 years ago
Surprisingly good for the price! Winner!
Ps: retested twice with bottle variation. — 12 years ago

Like others have said. This is one of the smoothest. — 9 years ago
Incredible. Densely layered fruit, earth, mineral, and savoury elements. A crescendo of evolution took place while we drank this. The nose had something only some of the best pinots have; a kind of magical aroma that is impossible to pin down, "like a dream you know you had but can't fully remember." A classic white rhone blend from BC! elderberry nose and a sharp finish. a touch of peach. Viognier clearly dominates. Quite a lot of minerality but off-dry. — 10 years ago
Más entero en nariz que en boca pero en muy buen estado... — 11 years ago
Very impressive. Even blind this was not that hard to pin down as Ygrec. Even though it's a dry wine with tons of sauv blanc grapefruit character there is an almost muscat-like echo of sweetness without actually being sweet that screams Sauternes, and none of the other dry Sauternes have the power and footprint of Yquem which is evident even here. Superb cleansing freshness despite its weight class. — 11 years ago
2008 from Grampa Bob's cellar. Delicious!! — 12 years ago
Smooth sweet taste 😊 very good Bordeaux. — 12 years ago
Delicious from the first velvety sip. Not too big, not too light, pleasing for seconds after sipping. Better in its own than with food. — 14 years ago
