Started by a group from Wisconsin chasing their dream to make wines. They made their first wines at Whitman cellars. Sconi block planted in 2007. where they will build their new winery. Two weeks ahead this year warm summer 2013 looks to be very good so far everything planted on their own roots continental climate here because of the gorge they don't get too cold 25 below zero would kill the roots. If they had to graft everything would it be possible to make great wines here. The largest wind farm in North America most of the power sold to California. So many Syrahs chasing that funk profile. This is different. Aromatics show savory character, but the palate is a high acid, red fruited play on elegance. Soft & supple, this is a beautifully textured wine.

Third Meritage wine in the Hanukkah celebration.
Might have commanded an even better score but it was chasing the Dominus and the Les Pavots
