Did a blind tasting of the top 20 with a wide variety of people. Many experienced champagne/wine folks. This is it! Hands down the best non-traditional (not sour) Champagne, i.e. it tastes good. — 10 years ago
Great QPR, the Delas Saint-Joseph François de Tournon Rouge 2011 displays baritone aromas of ripe plums, reduced blackberries, anise, wet embers, fruit cake and a a billowing smoky undertow on opening. It's equally glorious in the mouth, I especially like the interplay of tannins and acidity. It's well defined, black fruit bolstered by cedar and Garrigue, I'm enjoying it on its own, certainly, it has the potential to age over the next decade or so. Highly recommended. — 9 years ago
2013 vintage. Primary fruit evident. Some bread notes. Stone fruits. Quite round. Acidity less noticeable. But bitter on finish. Pretty good. — 11 years ago
