Consistently delicious and great value in Grand Cru Blanc de Blanc Champagne.
Fresh, reductive, lively on the palate. Green apple, lemon, lime zest, baguette crust, pineapple, white peach, lanolin, cream, perfect chalk & minerality, yellow & white florals, beautiful acidity and rich polished finish that persists.

One of my favorite Syrah’s, especially considering how reasonably it’s priced. Beautiful dark magenta color and texture, medium staining with some small sediment. Nose sees tight, dried blue and black berries, funky cured meat, maybe some wet rocks. Palette sees more jammy blue and red berries, medium tannins, medium acid, medium+ alcohol. Nice WA Syrah (with 5% Grenache) made in an old world style. — 8 years ago
I love this wine. I love this wine because it exists all the way at the 'painstakingly clean and precise' end of the skin-contact spectrum. Don't get me wrong, I love the super-natty wild and wooly and of the spectrum too. But this. This is so purely and exactly what it sets out to be. And I love it. — 9 years ago

Drank with Mom, Mom n' Law and rest of family on Fathers Day 2015. All agreed that this was a winner. Pure chardonnay without all the oak and manipulations. Wife @juliealyson needs to get on board drinking this years vintage! — 11 years ago
Slight vanilla and crisp smell. Some pear too. Taste has some bitter and sour notes but malactic makes it a little smoother. Minerally. Better with food. Had butter garlic clams. — 13 years ago

A savory juicy textured herbal food pairing champ. Like cooking sous-vide with an immersion circulator, what was once a geeky oddity has found a permanent home on our table. Not a universal solution, but really the right tool for the job in certain situations. Like pan seared halibut with fennel or spring vegetable risotto. — 8 years ago
Nice ripe berry. Very enjoyable, good balance and smooth tannins. — 8 years ago
Very big fruit. Very smooth finish. Smoky front Good spice. — 9 years ago
Garnet red with some browning on the edges. Nose was definitely tight to start, with a couple hours of air it changes from chalky and savory to some dark berries. Kind of all mixed together. Cassis and blackberries in the attack with some earthy and vegetal undertones. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and a moderate body. Slightly furry moderate plus finish. Drink till 2019. — 10 years ago

What to do when the amount of Coronavirus cases keeps increasing in California. Start the night off with a glass of one of our favorite N/V Rosé Champanges.
All my numerous notes still apply!

This is wonderful - a nose of fresh ripe sweet red strawberry, morphs into some raspberry. Acid builds perfectly into a balance of fruit and acid with the prevailing strawberry note at the center. Finishes also fruity with just a tinge of green fruit but just a hint, and a I mean a hint, of chalk. This balances the finish beautifully. Really world class rose. — 7 years ago
Not bad at $30. Not great either. — 9 years ago
Fruity and caramel. It is good if you want a light white with my favorite flavors of a Chardonnay. Great for a cheap wine. — 10 years ago
