Hitting its stride and good for miles more... #delicious fruit and a savory, olivey quality resonates through the finish. With crispy, fried garlic and Missouri Breaks. — 8 years ago
Beautiful pale salmon pink color with very fine, persistent, fast bubbles. Gentile strawberry and mineral nose. Crisp and dry with creamy bubbles and wonderful, fresh acidity. Soft flavors of red currant and strawberry. Finish finish is long, crisp and elegant. — 9 years ago

Opening night of the Bastion, patron selected, five course, back room restaurant in Nashville. Feeling very privileged and fortunate to be under the guidance of sommelier extraordinaire Chelsea and the staff of passionate chefs behind the round with Josh at the helm. I am not popping my collar but I have been lucky enough to have purely memorable meals in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Italy, France, and in the US. Bastion, with praise, lands on my Olympic podium of memorable meals. Visit soon. I see only 22 seats in the room. — 9 years ago

Thanksgiving class. Refreshing wine to pair with dinner. Not too sweet. Crisp. — 5 years ago
St. Laurent is my new favorite red varietal. This one is super juicy and a pleasure to sip. Similar to Pinot, but a little rougher around the edges. Recommend! 11€ — 6 years ago

Great Austrian light body wine — 8 years ago
Good and strong. It was stronger and better balanced than most European wines I've had. Probably the strongest I've had in Europe. — 8 years ago
Tasted January 2014
Deep ruby to dark garnet, St. Laurent Ausstich is "selection of the best barrels of the vintage". Smoked cherries, herbs and forest berries dominate on the bouquet. Palate is juicy, with chokeberries and soft wooden tartness, slightly straight. Sour cherry and oak hints on meduim length finish. Overall - pretty nice wine with velvety structure, balanced and elegant to some extent. Suits roe deer sliced and cooked in onion sauce. — 9 years ago
18- 1999. Robust, still some tannin, rich Pinot nose, young appearance, good fruit. Not subtle! — 9 years ago
2006 Zantho St. Laurent
