Totally non commerical malbec. Old style. Tobacco, tannin, huge spice, raw tire mid palate. A bit young and austere and out of whack now. But fucking good — 8 years ago
#croatina #piedmontesewines Full body. Deep ruby red. Figs, raspberr, rubber tire. Low to mid tannins. Black pepper finish — 8 years ago
Could be a blend but in any event it is predominantly from the Arinto grape. Medium gold in colour. Aromatic notes with mineral and pear with lively acidity. Medium body and length. Drink now or could cellar with that acid but essentially drink now. Great value for $18. — 9 years ago
Roses...rubber tire...violets too...mild smokyness....dark cherries.beautiful — 9 years ago
Comolex stir tire, brimming with lush fruit flavored and aromas of peach, lychee, and apple — 9 years ago
Tasty and vibrant but fading. Drink em if ya got em. First night it was all apple and biscotti with white flowers. Night two it was flat and all rubber tire fire.

2010 - Yes also in #Bordeaux we can do some great #Malbec - a delicious #wine for #winelover - small production from Tire Pé - organic farming, small yields, 2010 year, fermented and aged in the same 300 / 400 L barrels - a refined wine, atypical and surprisingly delicious ! 😃👍 a must try ! — 11 years ago
Perfect pizza wine. High acid, soft tannin. Dark fruit, a touch of tire rubber. An excellent barbera. — 11 years ago
"Gamay/Malbec"
First of all, it's gamay/côt. Fabulous gamay burnt tire nose, bright smashed berry jolly ranchers melted into the backseat of said car w said tires. Drink chilled and in bright sunlight. — 8 years ago
This was so incredible. Burnt popcorn and tobacco. Rubber tire like Alsace. Such an interesting and unmistakably distinct flavor profile. Can't wait to check this out in a few years. — 9 years ago
Dry. Nice. Leathery cab franc would get against less than $20 — 9 years ago
I simply can never tire of aged Riesling. — 9 years ago
Lovely cab-merlot blend — 9 years ago
This producers been on my shortlist for a while now -- glad to finally try it! I like it as much as I'd have hoped. Impeccable balance and purity of fruit: lime zest, marzipan, tire shop, and burnt marshmallow -- a strange combination of flavors, but somehow it works. — 10 years ago
1986. MB negociant will cost few hundred hkd more. Leaking bottle, extremely sour n damp at open. Decant 3 hours. Divine. Violet, leaf, bell pepper, this wine gives a profound nose that won't tire ur sense, let's u keep digging, a structuralist, powerful. Hercules of Margaux. The first wow Bordeaux wine for me. Buy. — 11 years ago
Like Comté. Oxidized, fresh and nutty. Not one to tire of — 11 years ago
Classic, quintessential and somehow affordable? Tire, rubber, petroleum, humming acidity and clean minerality. Citrus all the more apparent with air. — 8 years ago
Tar, asphalt, and new rubber tire on the nose, smooth tannins and floral aspect on the palate that lifts it. Tried for the first time after it had been open for 4 days, pretty good — 8 years ago
New car tire on the nose — 9 years ago
Lagunitas crushed it with this Red. Before I got into IPAs, ambers were my thing. This one is off the charts good. If you are a big Fat Tire fan, you may not appreciate the higher IBUs and ABV. If you are someone who likes both IPAs and Ambers, you're going to friggin love this. Makes me teary eyed to think this is a limited release and yet Buttweiper continues to exist. — 9 years ago
Blackberry jam, savory and spicy. Delightful. This is a wine I could never tire of drinking. — 9 years ago
Lovely bottle!! Especially 15$. Spicy. Fruity. Yummy!! — 9 years ago
On the nose, a lot of oak, new rubber tire, burnt leaves, and dirt. On the tongue, a good bit of sour plum, cherry pit, and blackberry. Would do well with some age. — 10 years ago
100% Greco Bianco. Tire rubber charcoal, and smoke and crushed ginkgo berry aromas. Grease Monkey special. Medium mouthfeel becomes lighter and finishes with a good austerity (not the bad kind). Starfruit and underripe, not-sweet-at-all peach finish. Stony and gypsum-esque. — 10 years ago
Rock star teroldego! Smooth red currents, black 'n raspberries @ that rubber tire scent - trademark of teroldego - Italian ones anyway. Not those frightening Cal- itals! Thx @klwines — 11 years ago
Tastes like Chandon but with a brighter and slightly drier finish — 11 years ago
