This was a pretty tasty bottle of Burg. Worked exceptionally well with porchetta--acid cutting through the fat, with beautiful spice and fruit. Needed a little time to breathe. — 5 years ago
This is drinking really well. Great minerality and a tinge of fruit. — 6 years ago
2014 vintage. Yum! Chiseled acidity with enough fruit to make this super enjoyable. — 7 years ago
Very nice with steak or red meat. It has some nice berry tones to it. Overall I really enjoyed it — 7 years ago

Beautiful NV champagne. Smoke, flint and pear on the nose. Flavors of black currant, pear, apple, ginger, honey, almond, lemon zest and brioche. Smoke and chalk on the finish. Nice balance, racy acidity and delicate mousse. — 5 years ago

Outstanding old vine Chablis that is "village" level but drinks like a premier cru. Decant for one hour. A SommSelect choice. $27. Wow. — 7 years ago

Slowly converting me to a Chablis drinker. — 8 years ago
Yeasty cherry pie, raspberry jam, tobacco, herbal and floral notes and big tannins and a serious mouthfeel. Delicate but masculine, this is a big wine in touch with its feminine side. This is a blend of select barrels from around the hill of Hermitage. Needs to decant but unfortunately I don't have time! — 8 years ago
#bordeauxont even play with me right now....tasted with Jeromé at the Chateau as part of a 15 year vertical. Who knew Castillon could age?!?!?!? — 9 years ago
