The first 30 minutes were like licking the inside of an oak barrel, sans splinters. The wine really didn't show for a few hours, but once it did it would have fooled people into thinking that it was a $100 wine.

Sufficiently mature so as not make enemies with any palate (or bffs). Drink it if you got it now. Not much fruit left in the tank. What's left is dark. Deep purple in the glass. Mellow and soft now. Finish on the short side. Still, an enjoyable find. — 9 years ago
