Wonderful wine, slight minerality but mostly fresh cherries and raspberries — 6 years ago
Tiny hint of reduction but beyond that it is super floral and with loads of cherry fruit. Iron, very mineral. Elemental stuff. Dusty and very very refined. Hit of licorice. Really alluring nose. Just stunning. These wines give nothing in their youth and then the blossom. Stunningly fresh and vibrant with still some tannic grip but wonderful balance and depth. Saps your palate and tales of over. This is truly on its way to being great. It’s long and saline and has floral echoes on the finish. Profound. But with age, 3-6 more years, this will be lights out. — 6 years ago
“La Rochelle” is a 5ha lieu-dit in Moulin-à-Vent with a reputation for making wines that have great potential for aging. This is but a wee babe. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Slightly better on Day 2. The 2022 pours a ruby purple with medium viscosity and some staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe red and black fruit: desiccated raspberries, black cherry, pomegranate, flowers, dried herbs, a touch of barnyard, warm spices, and rocky earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and slightly spicy. This is really high quality juice. Bravo. Drink now through 2042. — 9 months ago
Nice Burgundy style Bojo, nice red fruit, good acidity, supple tannins yet the wine has balance and some depth, but I think you need to drink up, won’t last that long. 88-89
Beau Bojo de style Bourguignon, fruits rouges, belle acidité, tannins assez souples, un beau vin équilibré. Par contre, je pense qu’il faut boire assez rapidement si on veut apprécier sur le fruit. — 4 years ago
Very nice cru Beaujolais. Rich, deep ruby color, flavorful nose and nice on the palate. Pairs well with rich soups and hearty fare. 2018 vintage in December 2020 — 5 years ago

Sans soufre. Racy but clean and polished, no volatility presenting. Bright floral aromatics, great acidity and freshness. — 7 years ago
Extremely drinkable... even without food. Am loving everything out of 2015... — 8 years ago
Father’s Day at Jane for mom bd. Jordon knows and likes this wine. More like a Burg in its complexity and balance and light footed profile. Yum. — 4 years ago
Gamay forever!! SIGHT: burgundy red; light, clear. SMELL: slight farm floor, overripe plum flesh, nostalgia. TASTE: strawberry candy, slight tartness, pleasant tannins, light bodied — 5 years ago

Forgot to take detailed notes, but this was nice. Not really any carbonic / natural / “new agey”notes, just a solid classically made gamay. Definitely has some structure, opened 4 hours before serving which was good. Didn’t sing on any one dimension of fruit / earth / acid / length / texture but was nice overall. — 7 months ago
