I'm from Upstate, you're from Upstate, we're Upstate, and I love you, you crazy wine. This winemaker better not have a issue with vagrants because we'll be camping in their yard of vines when we go on our dank natty wine Finger Lakes adventure. — 5 years ago
Fabulous table wine. The Australian version of The Chocolate Block. Affordable too. From Wine Rack in Belsize. — 5 years ago
Wow, acid is here and that's for sure. Utterly refreshing, peppery lime nose. Grapefruit, gave, bitter lime but all very balanced. I could drink a bucket. — 6 years ago

Very good wine for a good price — 7 years ago
Very simple but very tasty can franc. It does not have the green vegetable character which this grape can have. It's more Pinot noir body than heavy but that's not a negative . Starts strong but the finish does lack a bit. You can tell this a well made wine from a winery which is one to watch for. Rating is for the grape from this region from a newish winery, so don't think it's a comparison with a Loire cab franc. That is a different beast. — 8 years ago
It's time for my #FridayCabernetfix. Here is a beautiful one.
Dark inky in color with a short purple rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, sweet cherries, raisins, dried figs, tobacco, cedar, leather, vanilla, licorice spices, chocolates, mocha, coke, metals, light earth, pencil lead and peppercorn.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, leather, earth, vanilla, licorice, peppercorn, spices, chocolates, tobacco, mocha, coke and beef jerky.
Long finish with round tannins and dark coffee.
This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Showing nice complexity with a great mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle, and better as it opens up and shows more complexity. Good by itself or with food. I loved smelling on it for a long time.
This 6 year old from the great 2013 vintage is tasty and delicious. Has the potential to be a 97 point wine in 5 years.
Thank you Barry for sharing.
This is a nice wine to drink all by itself and talk about. Well balanced, rich and expressive.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in French oak barrels for 20 months.
14.7% alcohol by volume.
95 points.

Delicious every time. Notes of tart cranberry and juicy red fruits. Stunning acid and very balanced. — 7 years ago
The acidity is like a punch in the face - in a good way! Very dry with a bit of sunny currant. — 7 years ago
Unoaked. So the fruit is full forward. A bit rustic and rough around the edges, but it certainly has flavor! Looking forward to future vintages as this wine shows terroir. — 8 years ago

Is hard to imagine how anything could be much better from nose to lingering finish. But, I'll keep searching for the perfect dram. — 4 years ago
