Almost overwhelming stony minerality in the nose, along with black olive and mesquite smoke(?). Only a vague whiff of black cherry under all that. Intense flavors attack the palate. Dark minerals, beef blood, dark blackberry skins, roasted herbs. Full body. Long long finish. Still significant tannin, but it's soft. This will last at least 2-3 more years.
