Almost overwhelming stony minerality in the nose, along with black olive and mesquite smoke(?). Only a vague whiff of black cherry under all that. Intense flavors attack the palate. Dark minerals, beef blood, dark blackberry skins, roasted herbs. Full body. Long long finish. Still significant tannin, but it's soft. This will last at least 2-3 more years. Really good.

Smoky, with sultry dark blackberry fruit. Rich, but not over the top. Mineral infused dark berry extract. Lots of soft tannin. This will last a few more years, but I don't think it's going to get any better. Tremendous value.
