Raspberry meets first bite of red apple with tart skin in tow and moist rock (m.v.) — 11 years ago
2010, Domaine AuxMoines, Savennieres- Roche Aux Moines, Chenin Blanc. Tart apple, pear and a little Myer's lemon. Acid and minerality. 14.5 alcohol but so well balanced I didn't notice. A hint of oxidation but a wine that I will definitely buy again. — 12 years ago

Perfect celebration wine! — 11 years ago
2011 vintage. Medium ruby. Quite closed. Floral, red fruit profile. Medium acidity. Medium minus tannins. Soft and gentle. Bit green in parts. Medium plus on finish. Slightly dilute to suggest this has many years of development ahead of it. Decent and elegant. — 11 years ago
1992. Would have been better 5 yrs ago but still very nice with dried more than fresh fruit (prune/raisin more than plum/ grape) but still a touch of tannin on first opening. Definite cedary Napa dust gives a bit of structure. — 11 years ago

Deep purplish ruby red. A bit of heat on the nose with dark berries. Moderate plus tannins (7.5/10) and medium plus bodied. More integrated on the palate than the Clone 6. Solid dark berries, black cherries and a little black fruits on the palate. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2028. — 9 years ago
