Brouilly Gamay

Great summer red. Good balance and lower on the alchahol (12.5%). Great picnic wine. Pairs well with grilled foods (even grilled fish). — 11 years ago

Le Grand Pin Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend 2011

A delicious wine that should show even more in the next few years. With notes of kirsch and black currant, this soft, but complex wine is delicious. It has slight herbaceous undertones that round out the fruit forwardness. Probably one of the better Chat. Du Papes from this vintage. — 11 years ago

La Guigasse Châteauneuf-du-Pape Grenache 2009

Soy, white pepper, aircraft carrier of big plum jam and cranberry, a touch of heat on the finish, gentle allusions to leather, long way to go but good juice — 12 years ago
