This wine is all about style, silky tannins, black berries, black licorice, volcanic minerals...and this wine was purchased in Florence. Biodynamic Cab Franc under a crown cap. Starts just slightly effervescent. Highly aromatic cranberry, cola and forest floor. Deeply funky, but not heavy. Great counterpoint to Ruth Reichl's beef, wine and onion stew. — 9 years ago
