Earth and raspberry nose, with a hint of meat. Nicely balanced and medium bodied, and delightful. Smooth finish, and fine tannins. You know it's going to be a good evening when a Crozes comes up from the cellar, and this fits the bill! — 2 years ago
A lovely bottle that transports you to warm summer months. Easy yet very flavorful, I love sharing this on the porch after a long day. — 3 years ago

Light golden hue, honeysuckle and peach nose, wine opens up and goes well with food. It’s a little past its prime but is still nice. — 6 months ago

Smooth, beautiful wine, in a very apt setting... — 5 years ago
Purchased at Binnys September 2023. Might be better to save a bottle from 2017, but it was still very delicious. I’m trying more wines from France’s Rhône Valley in anticipation of visiting there in 2024.

Aromas: cherry, spice, a bit of farmyard. Very easy to drink withn soft tannin, strawberry flavours and a dry finish. Good length. — 3 years ago

Tasted blind...initially very tannic but settled down after a few minutes (or my palate was subdued into compliance). Elegant notes of dark, tart red fruit and earthy spices. Black pepper and smoke complimented the finish, which was tart but appropriate and enjoyable. I was surprised on the age but in hindsight this was a good thing, as the tannin has mellowed enough to allow for the fruit to really come through. Overall a very well done wine. Nice job Jean-Luc! — 4 years ago
