Wow what a generous gift which retails for more than $250. Definitely less nose than expected but super complex! Regarded as one of the finest bottles available on the market today, we were nervous to drink it. That said, the 13 years in the bottle give it a strong alcohol start but finishes smooth and complex. — 2 years ago

TJ’s for $7.50 makes this a winner but I am bot running back to get another one. As most bordeaux’s do, it lacks a nose and starts very light and fine but ends “alcoholy” and not chewy enough for me. WBA — 5 years ago

This beauty ranges from $26 to about $31. A very good value for an extremely smooth vino, with everything Berry coming at you all at once! From the nose to the velvety texture, you will get raspberry, blueberry, blackberry and I even get some jam. It’s not sweet and is a Cabernet lover’s delight as far as its dryness... but it definitely tricks you for a moment into thinking you are getting a fruity sweet wine which ends up finishing extremely dry. Well done Hess!

Ooof…. This is absolutely remarkable and probably the best value I have ever tasted. Rich plums with a slight undeniable spice. Massive body for a Bordeaux and “legs for days”. Wow. Love it! Wine spies sold it for $29-38 depending on quantity and it was listed at $75. Definitely worth more. Wrong wine name. See pic for real winery. The app couldn’t find the correct chateau. — 2 years ago

Should be called c#ckbread. god awful wine that at $90 is the biggest ripoff since 3D TVs. Barely a $10 wine and deserving of a better business bureaus BBB fraud complaint. Give me my $ BACK. Yuk! — 3 years ago

Ok ok ok, so any good trial lawyer knows that when the judge starts by making positive remarks for your case before a big ruling, it’s usually not good. You want a judge to end with the positive remarks. Things like with “ all due respect”, usually come in the middle and end up not boding well for your position. So here it goes. ....This is probably one of the finest wines I have ever had. It’s silky texture wraps around your pallet and envelopes your tongue, reminding you of the heavy price tag. $150 for one bottle or four glasses to be exact! Even the bottle is heavier than usual. From the nose to the finish, for every day folks like us , this is an experience. Enriching to say the least!
But, “with all due respect“, every wine rated on here is on a scale that considers value. And at $150 this B@#%..... bottle, is simply not worth the money. Nevertheless, I find it worthy of one of our highest scores ever because it is simply impeccable!! Thank you Ted for the great gift 🎁!!
