Intense, but lithe and perfectly balanced blue and black fruit. A+ cru Beauj — 5 years ago

The nose is typical with cherry, Raspberry, hay, Cola, even... This is quite welcoming. The palate shows some matter and a great acid drive. There are cherry notes dancing all along the acid drive, some width and some nice, a tiny bit thicker than usual mouthfeel. Some lively tannins kick in in the rear before a fruity finish with some salty, meaty touches in the end. This is a beautiful Julienas and I'm glad I have another bottle to leave on the side for a while. — 3 years ago
Cherry, hay, earth, plum somehow. Nice typical nose. The palate is well designed with a great acid backbone, a nice cherry note that shines all through the palate, soft, almost cushiony mouthfeel, a great build up in the rear with a tiny tannins effect that create a tiny distorsion in the mouthfeel before a fruit forward finish with a tiny bitter note that pops up. In a much better place than the last bottle. 2 more bottles out of the 6-box we bought in August last year — 3 years ago

Bomb of a CruBeauj! 15%alc. Never knew such a beast existed. Tasted at Arl. Most dif of the 40 crubeauj that night. Shared this at work and went over everyone's head. Warm, Dark plummy types of fruit. Not unbalanced despite the crazy alc. — 6 years ago
Always one of my favourite bottles in the Beaujolais-Bourguignon style. Crunchy, fine notes, a jovial and sophisticated wine. Ready to drink, can also age.
Toujours l’une de mes bouteilles préférées dans le style Beaujolais-Bourguignon. Du croquant, des notes fines, un vin jovial et sophistiqué. Prêt à boire, peut également vieillir. — 3 years ago
Medium bodied. Tastes like dark chocolate but not too heavy. — 3 years ago

Infinitely drinkable. Was expecting it to be too sweet or light but not the case. And just to be explicit: this is bkthing like the nouveau crap. This was complex enough. Maybe it’s a bit young still. Primary cherries and a nice high acidity that makes it a crowd pleaser at a good price. But not quite in tier for me as great cru Beaujolais primarily because it lacked a bit of structure and bite. Quite good if you or your company like red fruit forward high acid reds. — 6 years ago

So light and crisp with a hidden effervescence. We love this and could drink it daily — 2 years ago
