Bellissima interpretazione dell’annata.
Fresco, teso e molto piacevole.
Poca struttura ma ben bilanciata.
Bel finale che dona peso e carattere.

Dark fruit. Enjoyed it. — 5 years ago
Merlot dominates this blend but there is some Cabernet Sauvignon and some Cabernet Franc blended in. Medium ruby color with a slight clear meniscus. Fruit forward aromas and flavors of blackberry, black cherry, dark plum, baking spices and cedar. Medium-plus finish. Medium body and very silky tannins. Well balanced/layered acidity and a very silky texture. A bit more austere than a traditional Medoc red blend. At peak. — 3 months ago

A blend of mostly Merlot with a little Cabernet Franc, deep ruby red color with a bouquet of dark black fruit, and a slight herb nose, aged for 12 months in oak. On the palate flavors of blackberry, currant and cherry, with licorice and herbs. Fine grainy tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice and a touch of earthy mineral notes. — 7 months ago

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Very fresh nose of red berries, and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, red currants, earth, light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf, herbs and peppercorn.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 6 year old Merlot from Saint Emilion is still very young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Elegant and complex, but a little restrained now.
A good quality wine. Very fresh and young tasting, and a good food wine.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years. Has good potential to become a 94+ point wine.
A blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points.
