Solid sediment accounted for about a glass of this stuff. Thank goodness I decanted & kept it clean. Started out like a tart, sour cherry with an exceedingly dry finish. Not much fun. Decanted & the fruit started to come thorough. This never got voluptuous & remained assertive, but was rustic, bold & enjoyable enough to compliment a fresh made jalepeño pizza. Glug. — 10 years ago

Citrus, but not too sweet, which was very nice and allowed an underlying mineral tone to come through. Paired extremely well with a thermidor sauce on seafood, cutting right through it and pastry puff. Use to balance a rich heavy cream dish. — 6 years ago
