Beautiful... One of the best NZ Central Pinot Noirs — 10 years ago
First time trying an old Felton Road and a Block 5 courtesy of Can. Forest floor, some black fruits. Great concentration with depth and intensity of flavour. Good length but never felt over-blown or heavy. Shows why this wine is an icon. 94 points — 10 years ago
I usually don't like pinos but this one is great with a balanced palate and a bit of depth — 11 years ago
Can stand up to a BBQ steak, but still a classic Pinot on first taste. V good. — 9 years ago

Typical New World Pinot, fruit forward yet dry, some tannins but drinkable now. Very enjoyable. — 10 years ago
Commented earlier on my account: silky and delicate. Ripe taannums, lively acidity, delicate red fruit — 10 years ago
If you can get this on special it's definitely worth a go. Classic central otago. — 12 years ago
Had at The Modern in NYC in 2015. Dinner for 1 after Tanya and Lena left. Sommelier-recommended for Pinot Noir lovers adventurous to try from less common regions. — 9 years ago
Great cherry and lightly spice, well balanced and great value for money — 9 years ago
Earthy cherry. Easy to drink — 10 years ago
Still plenty of fruit. Sweet black cherry and spice. A nose reminiscent , strangely enough, of a Charles Hiedseick NV champagne — 10 years ago
Best of both worlds. Violets, cherries, dust light leather. Boozy! 14% I believe. Lies off after about 30-40. Super delicious and different. — 11 years ago
