Aromas of wood freshly cut via table or circular saw, caramelized sugar and radial tire - things were looking up. Initial glass was a bit short, which I must say was disappointing after such an auspicious beginning. After a bit of time, she broadened out into an elegant, almost weightless drink. So delicate and pleasant.

Barely ready to drink with impeccable balance of fruit, residual and acidity. Will develop into something significant! — 11 years ago
A very sexy champagne. — 12 years ago
Amazingly rich with delicate bubbles. Full of ripe pear, apple pastry, creme brûlée, toffee, and a touch of cheese rind. The acid is present enough to offset the richness. This is a tête I would buy again! — 9 years ago
Had the 1988 last night, and it was silky with tea, spice and high acid. — 10 years ago
Honestly, a bit disappointing given the vintage, pedigree, and price tag. Dumb phase? — 10 years ago

No, you are not misreading the vintage. Had a half glass of this at 3pm and took a 5hr nap. This is certainly the best white wine I've ever had. — 12 years ago

Very nicely balanced white burgundy. Subtle white stone fruit with balanced acidity on the finish. Paired well with the fish based tasting menu. — 11 years ago
