It is Saturday night and I have opened the Maurice Bonnamy Crémant de Loire Rosé Brut. A blend of 100% Cabernet Franc grapes from south of Saumur.

On the nose there I find strawberry, raspberry, tart cherry, minerality and some yeasty qualities.

On the palate there are notes of strawberry, raspberry, tart cherry, bell pepper, yeast and food minerals.

This sparkling wine has a beautiful salmon pink color with a constant fine bead that is medium bodied with high acidity and a long fresh, crisp, clean finish. Continued good health and stay safe. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂 — 4 years ago
