Crushed up red Halls sprinkled over olives and earth. Sounds weird but I am into it. — 8 years ago
This was about a year or two past peak drinking. Nonetheless, no other rose comes close. It still had tons of fruit. A rose fruitiness, with a red wine nobility (as dumb as that sounds). It opened up a lot over the course of an hour — 8 years ago

Lovely drinkable wine. — 10 years ago
Crispy tang with enough complexity that it makes you feel like you’re getting away with something. Sounds like a Japanese pop group. — 7 years ago
Really liked it. Tastes like a good cab with some pepper, which sounds disgusting but was really good. — 8 years ago
Citrusy not too sweet. Crisp. It's a sip for me #badandboozy #badandboozypod — 8 years ago
Had this at Glen & Josh's wedding. Absolutely stunning. Struck match on the nose, not overly oaky and woody, light and delicious. (I only know the struck match note because I was told about it, but it sounds good :P) — 9 years ago

This was a really fun follow up to the duo of 2010 Saint-Damien’s. Same consulting wine maker (P. Cambie). Consistent with my previous experiences with this wine, it was beguiling from the start. Lush, amazing example of Grenache with brambles for days and while that sounds like this is massively fruit forward (and it is) it’s just so pure that you can’t help but fall head over heals for it. Sadly, all good things must come to an end and this was my last bottle. Tremendous. — 7 years ago
Camping with my daughter on Catalina island. I grew up in Colorado so the silver bullet and the banquet beer were staples in my family home. Heck I hit on Pete Coors daughter in high school, she turned me down more times than the sheets at the holiday inn. Ahh sweet memories. Did you know Coors was heavy into ceramics?? Go check it out. That’s you cliff Clavin fact of the day. Cheers! — 8 years ago

Current vintage. 2004 sounds old but this tastes so young. So lively, bracing, and uncompromising. Racy, dynamic acidity makes the whole palate a bit inscrutable at first. I cannot overstate how much grip this wine has. Slowly, acid dissipates to reveal some true game and meat overtones. Petroleum, tannin, and tart fruit. Fabulous with Spanish cuisine. Although this was a lot for fun to try now, I'd recommend putting it in a dark part of your cellar for...Let's say 20 years. — 9 years ago

Clear, pale lemon colour. Clean, pronounced aromas of gooseberry and tropical fruits. Palate is dry with high acidity. Light bodied with zingy, ripe passionfruit and citrus flavours. Short finish. A very good quality wine. — 7 years ago
